Farm Family CPD - online farm safety training for all
Online farm safety training, with courses designed to suit all generations of the farm family.
FRS Training partnered with the Farm Families, HSA, IFA, Teagasc, FBD Insurance and FRS Network to develop and launch Farm Family CPD (Continuous Professional Development) - Online Farm Safety Training for Irish farmers. There are courses available for children and young people, parents, grandparents, and all persons working on the farm. The courses consist of units with video content and interactive, engaging activities. The courses aim to promote all generations learning together and influencing each other to develop a better farm safety culture.

Farm families are at the core of this initiative. Farm Family CPD aims to deliver online farm safety training to all generations living and working on family farms throughout Ireland. For the first time, training is designed not only for the principal farmer but specifically for all people over 12 years of age living and working on farms. Training is farmer friendly, family friendly and can further develop the capacity for behaviour change on farms. CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development which is a feature of many workplaces around the world, where people continuously strive to improve their standards.

Training is Free until the end of November. This training is available free of charge as a result of the funding provided by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine through the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) Initiative.
