Kildalton College Open Days


Kildalton College are hosting Open Days for anyone interested in courses in Agriculture, Horticulture or Equine Studies. Monday, 21st June at 11am is when the first of four open days throughout the summer kicks off. Booking in advance is essential. Read more here on reserving your place on the tour

About Kildalton College

Kildalton is the largest Teagasc college and a leading provider of training in Agriculture, Horticulture and Equine Studies in Ireland with over 1,400 students attending courses every year. In addition to providing QQI accredited courses at levels 5 and 6 Kildalton College also provides courses at levels 7 and 8 with the local Institute of Technology in Waterford (WIT) making the college a progressive learning facility in the South East.

Tour numbers are limited. 

Booking in advance is essential via telephone on 051 644400 or email kildalton.college@teagasc.ie 

Tours start at 11am and 2pm.

Dates are as follows:

  • Monday, 21st June
  • Tuesday, 29th June
  • Friday, 9th July
  • Thursday, 12th August

Kildalton College is situated in the village of Piltown, Co Kilkenny in the picturesque Suir valley. It is located just off the main Waterford to Limerick road (N24), approximately eight kilometres from Carrick-on-Suir and 20 kilometres from Waterford city.
