Automation in Earth Observation
The annual Irish Earth Observation Symposium provides an opportunity for those working in the Irish Earth Observation sector to meet and present their work. Earth observation in Ireland is growing hugely in both academia and the private sector. These changes are driven by the easy availability of data from drones to the Copernicus program, and rapid developments in processing automation, product delivery, and machine learning. The potential for earth observation techniques to answer important national questions has never been higher.
The conference this year especially welcomes presentations on the themes of automation, product development and machine learning- though as usual there will be space for all applications of EO in Ireland to be presented. The conference will be two days with day 2 devoted to a workshop on coding in EO- the places for this workshop will be limited to 35 and places will be preferentially given to PHD and post docs.
