The sessions will provide a networking opportunity to get to know your colleagues and importantly, will highlight new opportunities for all advisors and researchers in relation to the recently launched EIP-Agri scheme. The sessions will also be used to update advisors and researchers on Climate Change, Biodiversity, and Water Quality prime concerns.
- The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) will provide an outline of the new EIP-Agri initiative, which may provide opportunities for consultants and advisors to become involved by being the promoters or initiators of groups - this work is eligible for funding from the Scheme
- Professor Tommy Boland from UCD will give a presentation in relation to Climate Change
- Dr. Erin Jo Tiedeken from the National Biodiversity Centre and Barry O’Donoghue from the NPWS will give a presentation on Biodiversity
- Seamus Barron (DAFM) will give a presentation on Water Quality
It is an ideal opportunity to increase your level of knowledge in relation to Climate Change, Biodiversity, Water Quality and to hear first-hand from the DAFM what their plans are in relation to EIP- Agri. It will also provide an ideal opportunity to network with your colleagues.
The session on the 16th January will be held in the Newgrange Hotel Navan commencing at 2pm, and the session on the 17th January will be held in the Horse and Jockey Hotel commencing at 2pm.
