Forest Recreation Walk - Cork

9 May 2022 9 May 2022 Teagasc and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) will run a nationwide series of walks between 9 and 20 May focusing on forest recreation.

Forests are established for many different purposes such as forest recreation. Forests provide great outdoor spaces for local recreation.

This walk will take place on Monday 9 May 2022 near Mallow, Co Cork. We will visit a NeighbourWood project that consists of a 10-ha oak woodland and recreation area in the heart of Mallow town.

Please note: this walk starts at 7pm. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
