Forest Recreation Walk - Carlow

12 May 2022 12 May 2022 Teagasc and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) will run a nationwide series of walks between 9 and 20 May focusing on forest recreation.

Forests are established for many different purposes such as forest recreation. Forests provide great outdoor spaces for local recreation.

This walk will take place on Thursday 12 May 2022 near Rathvilly, Co Carlow. It is a great example of how actively managed woodlands can play a significant role in recreation from the simple walk to providing a venue for weddings, wellness courses and corporate events.

Please note: this walk starts at 7pm. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
