Forest Recreation Walk - Meath

17 May 2022 17 May 2022 Teagasc and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) will run a nationwide series of walks between 9 and 20 May focusing on forest recreation.

Forests are established for many different purposes such as forest recreation. Forests provide great outdoor spaces for local recreation.

This walk will take place on Tuesday 17 May 2022 near Kilmessan, Co Meath. We will visit an oak woodland at various stages of growth. It is managed for timber production, biodiversity and recreation.

Please note: this walk starts at 7pm. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
