Forest Recreation Walk - Roscommon

18 May 2022 18 May 2022 Teagasc and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) will run a nationwide series of walks between 9 and 20 May focusing on forest recreation.

Forests are established for many different purposes such as forest recreation. Forests provide great outdoor spaces for local recreation.

This walk will take place on Wednesday 18 May 2022 near Elphin, Co Roscommon. We will visit Palace NeighbourWood Park – a biodiverse community woodland with environmental, recreation and wellbeing features.

Please note: this walk starts at 7pm. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
