Life Beef Carbon European Networking Meeting

Demonstration actions to mitigate carbon footprint of beef production in Ireland, France, Spain and Italy

LIFE BEEF CARBON concluding European networking meeting will review the impact beef production is having on climate warming carbon emissions and showcase the actions Irish, French, Spanish and Italian producers are taking to reduce their contribution. The event will discuss the latest European climate change targets for the sector and summarize the outcomes of the United Nations 25th Climate Change Conference, COP 25. We will also review current Irish climate policy and the latest initiatives tackling beef production’s sustainability challenges. The event will bring together experts from across Europe and feature presentations from the European Commission, the Department of Agriculture Food & Marine, Teagasc, Bord Bia and LIFE BEEF CARBON’s leading partners.
