Microbiological Challenges for Artisan/Small Food Producers - Seminar

On Wednesday, 30th March, Teagasc will hold a seminar from 9am - 3:30pm on “Microbiological Challenges for Artisan/Small Food Producers: How to Make Safer Food”.
The programme features food scientists from the Teagasc Food Research Programme and University of Limerick who will present the latest research on microbial food safety in dairy, vegetable and meat production as well as the development of molecular methods in identifying microbes across the food chain.
Guest speakers from Pennsylvania State University and the Food Safety Authority of Ireland will outline the current legal and regulatory guidelines, followed by a round table discussion with representatives from Bord Bia, Safefood and the three food sectors involved.
