On-Farm Small Scale Biogas Workshop - Fermoy, Co Cork14 October 2019 14 October 2019
Venue Teagasc, Moorepark, Fermoy, Co. Cork
The Irish Bioenergy Association in conjunction with Teagasc are holding a series of workshops to explore how biogas (anaerobic digestion) can be used to recycle farm wastes and by-products into useful energy and fertiliser. This is an European Innovation Partnership (EIP) Project – Small Biogas Demonstrations Project, funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) under Rural Development Programme 2014 – 2020.
We are looking for suitable farms to join the partnership in developing small scale biogas on working farms. This may be of interest to dairy, beef, poultry, pig and tillage farms, as well as having interesting potential for the horticultural sector. If you are interested in finding out more please book into one of our free workshops around the country. Speakers will include IrBEA Representatives, Teagasc Representatives and other industry stakeholders.
All workshops commence registration at 09.30am for a 10.00am start and finish at 01.00pm
