A 25 hour QQI Level 5 ‘Organic Farming Principles’ course must be completed before acceptance into the Organic Farming Scheme

On completion of the course, participants will be proficient in:

Interpretation of organic standards
The principles of organic production
Assessing economic viability and market opportunities

This is a blended learning course, delivered in person and online.

Courses dates:

May 20th - Zoom 10am to 1pm
May 21st - Teagasc Manorhamilton and Farm visit
May 27th - Zoom 10am to 1pm
May 29th - Zoom 10am to 1pm
June 3rd - Teagasc Manorhamilton and Farm visit

Course fee €220. Course numbers are limited. Pre-booking is essential.
