This webinar on Wednesday, 9th September will focus on:
Why we need healthy soils?
and is part of a series of webinars focused on addressing the challenges and opportunities in the agri-food sector and showcasing the latest thinking and Teagasc’s research in these areas.
Soils are essential for life on earth, providing food, clean water and habitats for biodiversity, contributing to climate resilience and supporting our cultural heritage and landscapes. However, they are threatened by human activities including unsustainable management practices and contamination from industries. Teagasc is currently researching and investigating the physical, chemical and biological properties of Irish soils to gain a better understanding of their interactions and overall health.
Join Teagasc researchers on this webinar to find out more about our research, the health of Irish soils and what we need to do to make them healthier.
