Teagasc Research Insights Webinar - Demands on our Land

Event Time 9.30am
Venue Online
First of five Teagasc Research Insights Webinars focusing on Land Use - Making the most of our land.

Land is the basis for human life on the planet. Society relies on farmers and land managers to provide food, feed, fuel and fibre to sustain human life but increasingly, there is pressure to manage and use land to simultaneously deliver public goods. Land use is a complex interdisciplinary science that encompasses the biophysical environment, ecological, economic, and social systems that mediate management and decision making processes.

Join Teagasc researchers on five webinars where they will give an overview of current research that explores this complex research topic.
