Trevor Boland, 2019 Suckler Category Grassland Farmer of the Year takes us through a day in the life on his farm

Trevor is the 2019 Suckler Category Grassland Farmer of the Year.
Trevor farms in Sligo on 3 blocks of land and has a suckler herd finishing both bulls and heifers. He has developed an excellent paddock system which the groups of stock graze and uses a lot of temporary electric fencing. He is a keen believer in grass measurement to make decisions and he completed 34 farm walks last year using PastureBase Ireland.
