Winter Milk Week - Wednesday

Winter milk producers constitute a vital sub-sector within a highly seasonal Irish dairy industry. Year-on-year these farms meet demand for a consistent daily supply of quality fresh milk to the domestic market, as well as providing winter volumes for manufacture of specific products. 

As part of the Teagasc Winter Milk Programme a number of on farm events are being organised around the country.  Teagasc Winter Milk Week will see five farm walks taking place each day from Monday, 21^st – Friday, 25^th November in a different location each day.

Join us on Wednesay, 23^rd November at 11.30am for a Winter Milk Farm Walk on the farm of Lisavaird Farm, Kippagh, Dunmanway, Co Cork, P47 TV08.
