Seeking the views of Wexford Women in Agriculture

Teagasc is undertaking a project which seeks to examine the engagement between farm women and advisory services. This study is being undertaken by Ms Aisling Molloy, a Master’s Degree student on the Teagasc Knowledge Transfer Walsh Fellowship programme.

All women living, or working on farms in County Wexford are encouraged to complete the online survey which is available at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/D37FWH3

Speaking about the project Aisling Molloy said: “The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete, so I would encourage as many farm women as possible to complete it before the closing date of Friday, 16th September.  All responses will be anonymous and individual responses will remain strictly confidential.”

This research will provide valuable information on how to improve the advisory service, to ensure greater engagement from the 70,000 farm women in Ireland with the advisory service. It will inform potential changes to the service to better meet the requirements of women working in agriculture.
