Teagasc Dairy Conference Changes to Virtual Event
The Teagasc Dairy Conference, which was due to take place in Cork and Athlone on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24 November, has been changed to a virtual event only, due to the updated Government guidelines.
The Virtual Dairy Conference 2021 - ‘Meeting Challenges with Technology’ will consist of live broadcasts on Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning, from 10am to 11.30am. The live events will be broadcast through zoom. Details are available on www.teagasc.ie/dairycon21
Recordings of the live sessions will be available afterwards online. In addition, a full conference proceedings will be published on the Teagasc website, along with video recordings with the speakers.
Dr Joe Patton, Head of Dairy Knowledge Transfer in Teagasc said: “Due to the new and updated Government guidelines, the Teagasc National Dairy Conference has changed from an ‘in person’ event to being an online ‘virtual event’ only. We would urge all farmers to join us online on Tuesday and Wednesday morning from 10am to 11.30 am, and to follow the publications and videos on Teagasc online platforms. Our technical content remains the same and we look forward to a good virtual discussion on the key issues for dairy farming“
