Ballyhaise College Virtual Open Day took place on 15th June. Two sessions were held covering the agriculture and forestry courses.
Agriculture
The agriculture session was hosted by Principal John Kelly live from Ballyhaise College. John was joined by a panel - Marie McGlynn, Coordinator of the Advanced Drystock Course and Sheep Enterprise leader; John Doherty, Coordinator of the Advanced L6 Dairy Course and Dairy Lecturer; John McElvaney, Mechanistaion Lecturer and Anne Berrill, House Manager and Student Welfare Officer. The panel, with the aid of videos discussed studying agriculture at Ballyhaise and answered questions from potential incoming students.
The panel also discussed the progression options for students and the advantages of studying agriculture in Ballyhaise.

The forestry session was hosted by Principal John Kelly live from Ballyhaise College. John was joined by a panel - Marianne Lyons, Forestry Lecturer; Arthur Kierans, Forestry Technician and Anne Berrill, House Manager and Student Welfare Officer. The panel, with the aid of videos discussed studying forestry at Ballyhaise and answered questions from potential incoming students.
The panel also discussed the progression options for students and the advantages of studying forestry in Ballyhaise.
