In this video, Michael Gottstein, Head of Sheep Programme, Teagasc gives advice on cobalt supplementation in sheep. Michael explains the importance of cobalt for lamb thrive, and the signs of cobalt deficiencies in lambs. Michael identifies the different sources of cobalt supplementation as well as the timely supplementation of cobalt, which is decided by the level of cobalt deficiency on the farm.
