Let's Talk Cattle Webinar - Care of the Purchased Dairy Beef Calf

Alan Dillon, Teagasc Beef Specialist was joined by Suzanne Naughton, a vet with MSD on this episode of Let's Talk Cattle which took place on Thursday, 14th January to focus on the care of the purchased dairy beef calf.

Suzanne discussed best practice for managing the health of these purchased calves from purchase to weaning, while also highlighting the main areas where management can be improved in calves to avoid serious setbacks and high levels of mortality. Suzanne's presentation was followed by a questions and answers session.
