Teagasc’s first poultry Knowledge Transfer took place on Monday, 10th October in Teagasc Ballyhaise College, Co. Cavan and on Tuesday, 11th October in Teagasc Moorepark Food Research Centre, Co. Cork.
These events gave broiler farmers, processors and stakeholders a chance to engage with experts on the topics that are influencing our industry on a day-to-day basis and into the future. The presentations covered broiler genetics, vaccines, robotics, sustainable energy sources, planning issues, ammonia emissions, etc.
