Teagasc hosted a webinar on Thursday, 25th April, in collaboration with EURAGRI, SRUC and AFBI which looked at inspiring stories of rural entrepreneurship in Ireland.
It was the second in the EURAGRI-led Webinar Series that aims to highlight and demonstrate the role of the entrepreneur in transforming sustainable farming and food systems.
Host Mark Gibson, Teagasc was joined by guest speakers who have embarked on unique journeys in diversifying their agricultural businesses.The panellists included Teresa Roche, Kylemore Farmhouse Cheese; Nick Cotter, Cotter Agritech; and Noelle Casey, Knockcarrig House.
Elsewhere in the webinar, Barry Caslin, Teagasc provided an insight into the various supports for rural entrepreneurs in Ireland.
