The opening session  keynote speakers set out the global and Irish context of the
sustainability of livestock systems. The nutritional value of the food we produce is then explored, along with the drivers of consumer trends and behaviours.

A key priority for Teagasc is to provide leadership and support to the agri-food sector as it changes and adapts to meet the many challenges.

The final session takes a look at how we support farmers transitioning to more sustainable practices through our education and training programmes.
