The PastureBase and Grass10 team hosted an online webinar on Wednesday, 9 December to discuss achieving grazing excellence in 2021. John Douglas & Joseph Dunphy, Teagasc Grass10 Advisors and Micheal O'Leary, PastureBase Ireland were joined by Tipperary dairy farmer and Grass10 Carrick-on-Suir course member Jim White.
A series of Teagasc Sectoral Roadmaps 2027 was published on Tuesday, 8 December during a live webinar. Paul Maher, Assistant Director of Teagasc Knowledge Transfer Directorate chaired the webinar where speakers gave an overview of the main elements of the Teagasc Sectoral Roadmaps 2027.
Outlook 2021 Conference took place virtually this year on Tuesday, 1st December. This webinar included details on farm financials across all the major farming systems in Ireland, including output and input prices and agricultural income. This year’s conference included the short term outlook for the major farm sectors, and considered the implications of Brexit.
The Sustainability of Irish Agriculture Webinar which took place on Wednesday, 23rd June. Dr. Cathal Buckley, Teagasc provided an overview of the latest sustainability assessment for Irish agriculture, covering Economic, Social and Environmental Metrics.
