Advisory contract charges

A. 'Teagasc Club' Support Package

• Office based annual farm review (can include basic BISS application)
• Reasonable access to Teagasc office by phone
• Invitations to events / newsletters / Todays Farm
• Access to Pasturebase Ireland as a farmer user
• Office based support for farm inspections when they arise for Teagasc assisted scheme applications

Note: an on-farm visit is not included in the Teagasc Club Support package

B. 'Teagasc Technology' Support Package

Adds one farm visit or equivalent consultation/office work time to the Club Package

*Annual derogation support provides for annual monitoring and updating of derogation plans. It also includes completion of annual records for derogation clients. Please note - preparation of a derogation plan for the first time is not included. See 'Other Teagasc Advisory Service Products' below

Teagasc Discussion Group

Annual fee for discussion group membership. Can be added to only B above. Farmers in more than one group can avail of reduced fees.

Teagasc Workshop Group Membership - Annual fee for client workshop group membership - 4-8 meetings/yr. Targeted towards new / developing groups. €100

Discussion Group only (service) - Farmers seeking access to discussion group only. 

• Full group - €350
• Workshop group €200

Teagasc Visit - Can be added to either A or B above - €115
Teagasc Consult - Can be added to either A or B above - €75
Teagasc Gold - 6 visit farm development package - based on 6 visits x 2 hrs each on farm (or equivalent consultation / office work). Can add to either A or B - €1,450
General Acres Support - Records, Support with DAFM correspondence etc. - €100
General Acres 'LIG' Support - Scoring, Records, Support with DAFM correspondence etc - €200
Acres CP Annual Support Fee - <10ha - €260, 10 - 35ha - €325, >35ha - €375

Service available to clients who have a current contract for either A or B above.

Other Teagasc Advisory Service Products

1. Teagasc Derogation Plan – Derogation Planning Service - Includes one visit plus preparation of a new derogation plan. Only available to clients on Core Contract B above. Soil samples charged separately - €450
2. Teagasc Farm Plan – Farm Financial Planning Service - Includes one visit plus the preparation of a full financial business plan. Only available to clients on Core Contract B above - €450 
3. Teagasc Land – Land Improvement Planning Service - Includes one visit plus the preparation of an “outline land improvement plan”. Only available to clients on Core Contract B above - €350
4. Nutrient Inter-Farm Transfer Calculations - per form filled for imports & exports - €100
5. Nutrient Management Plan/Fertiliser Plan - Minimum Charge €160 plus €80/hour for each additional hour over 2 hours) - €160
6. Farm Restructuring Relief Certificate - Capital Gains Tax - Same fee for clients and non-clients - €550
7. Business Plan Tax Relief Certificate - My Farm My Plan - Same fee for clients and non-clients - (i) Stock Relief Young Trained Farmers, (ii) Young Trained Farmer Stamp Duty Relief, (iii) Succession Farm Partnership Tax Credit - €180 

Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS)

Only available to clients on Core Contract B above

• Animal Welfare Safety + Nutrient Storage - Large Project €1175, Small Project €375, Visit/Nitrates €750
• Tillage Capital - Large €1175, Small €375, Visit/Nitrates €750
• Dairy Equipment Scheme - €375, Visit/Nitrates €750
• Young Farmer Capital - Large €1,175, €750, Small €375
• Women Capital Investment Scheme - Large €1175, €750, Small €375
• Organic Capital  - €375, €1175, €750
• Farm Safety - €375, €750
• Solar Capital - €375, €750
• Low Emission (LESS) - €375, 
• Pigs / Poultry - €375

Dairy Expansion Service: Provision of a one-to-one specialised business planning service to Teagasc clients (Core Contract A or B) via a specialised advisor @€500/day.

Where other significant advisory or administration support is provided above the clients contracted service an appropriate charge will be applied:

• €80 /hr for advisors
• €35 /hr for other staff
• Other consultancy services can be charged at €525 / day plus mileage
