Teagasc Mushroom Research covers many aspects of the commercial mushroom production process from compost to packaged product. Research is carried out at Ashtown Research Centre, Dublin 15, in custom-built growing facilities.
We strive to deliver science-based innovation, significantly benefiting our advisory services. We also operate a disease diagnostics service from our laboratory facilities at Ashtown, testing and identifying mushroom pathogens using morphological and molecular methods.
