Current Projects

I am currently working under the supervision of our laboratory manager Linda Moloney Finn and I am responsible for the organisation and co-ordination of samples through the crop labs. I oversee the process of receiving fresh crop samples into the lab and the preparation of the dried/ground sample for analysis. I am also responsible for the analysis of crop samples for nutrient and trace element content using ICP-OES following microwave digestion.

Prior to working in crops I worked in soil reception where I looked after the receipt of soils into the lab and the preparation of samples for soil analysis.
